Accomodation

There are numerous hotels, motels and B&Bs in Moab. Go to www.moabchamber.com for list of accomodation. There is also the Lazy Lizard Hostel www.lazylizardhostel.com.

Camping - There is camping available along The River Road (128), Potash Road, Slick Rock. There are also commercial sites in Moab.

What to Bring


Clothes - Plan on conditions being hot and sunny, and cold, rainy and windy. We recommend wearing pants whilst crack climbing. The Desert temperatures can experience extreme fluctuations in temperature and conditions. Please make sure you bring clothes to allow for these changes.

Climbing Equipment. Harness, helmet, rock climbing shoes which are comfortable, approach shoes, belay device. Harness and helmets will be subject to MDA approval. Gear is also available for purchase at Moab Desert Adventures (10% discount) and at Gearheads, 471 South Main Street and Pagan Mountaineering in the Eddie McStiff's Plaza.

You can also purchase sunglasses, suncream, waterbottles and other items you may have forgotten at the Moab Desert Adventures shop located at 415 N Main Street.

Daytime food will not be provided. Indian Creek is remote, there are no services or facilities at Indian Creek, so please be prepared for the Indian Creek day.

Getting There


Airports: Salt Lake City, Grand Junction, Durango and Moab. Shuttles operate between the airports and Moab Centre. Telephone Road Runner shuttle 435 259 9402.

Driving time is 4 hours from Salt Lake City, 3 hours from Durango, 1.75 hours from Grand Junction and 6 hours from Denver.

Greyhound Buses stop at Crescent Junction on I70, 30 miles from Moab and at Green River, 50 miles from Moab.
