Denver Lions lead programs to help people see and succeed. An active organization, our members raise money, volunteer and direct sight- and family-focused programs. At weekly lunches, we network and learn about contemporary issues. We welcome anyone who believes in community service, friendship, and the power of connection.

The Denver Five Points Community Day
-Denver Den KidSight-
In conjunction with the Denver Five Points Lions, the Denver Den provided KidSight screening at the annual Denver Five Points Lions Community Day on August 9th. At the annual celebration, the community came out and enjoyed fun, games, face painting, balloon animals, and snow cones. The Denver Five Points Lions served their community by handing out school supply bags for the kiddos. A valuable service that assists families who may not be able to purchase all the needed supplies. This year, they gave away more than 300 bags filled with supplies.
The Denver Lions set up the KidSight screening tent. We screened 66 kids and referred 9 with potential visions problems. The KidSight screening provides valuable service for the children by alerting the parents to any vision problems the children might have. Every parent wants their child to succeed and undiagnosed vision issues can be a problematic issue. Thanks to Team McKenzie (BG, Donna, Sam, and Max) and Fletcher for their help. Great job, Lions!
