guides have been climbing and guiding in the Moab area longer

Rock Climbing seems a little too intense but the thrill of high
places and a little ropework appeals, Moab Desert Adventures
can also guide you through some beautiful landscapes when you
join us for a canyoneering adventure. These trips are a perfect
day out for the family, groups or by yourself. Our guided canyoneering
trips are a plethora of experiences all wrapped up in a memorable
half day to full day outing - beautiful scenery, rappelling,
hidden towers, rock art, hiking, scrambling - what more could

Adventure Racing - Rappel Certifications
Moab Desert Adventures is involved with Adventure Races like Primal Quest and Adventure Xstream, setting up the ropes section of the courses and providing safety personnel for the races. To participate in these races, it is required that you are certified in rappelling and have a knowledge in the technical rope work that you will encounter on the race. Moab Desert Adventures is approved by the Adventure Race providers to provide instruction and certification in rappelling and technical rope work. We have set up a schedule of dates and courses for the relevant races to enable you and your team members to become familiar with necessary rope techniques that will be encountered on the races you are participating in.
