Minister Myrtis Hours

Myrtis Smith was born February 09, 1953, Tunica Mississippi.

I hold a position as Community Manager of a housing development. I'm responsible for #462 units s, four different program 236-program, RAP( rental assistant, section-8 voucher holders, Tax-credit alone with market to market. I enjoyed assisting people in and around my community with their house needs. My professionalism is housing extended for over 24 years, I have leveraged my experience in leadership making my development a model of excellence.
During the past three year I have also enjoyed working with under priviged women. I estabish TORO (teach one reach one) ministries to aide women and child with affordable housing and bring awareness of optimal health and wellness to empower, improve self esteem and accountability.

My goals is to provide, consultation and teach others", to engage in healthy lifestyles and to become a model citizen .
My education background start from Austin H.S. on far west side of Chicago, after High School, I attended Kennedy King Jr college as well as Northeastern University I completed N.E with a political science degree, some medical background from North Western and Michael Reese Hospital. In addition I have received a few community awards in my Community (professional Achievement Award) & Humanitarian Award).

Myrtis House-Smith lives in South Holland with her husband Dr. Jerrold Smith and I have one son, who lives in Florida and one granddaughter and four extended family members.
