Jennifer Starkweather’s artwork has ranged from examining fingerprints and animal prints, to shadows and air currents.
She is interested in collecting and examining marks that map movements, behaviors and processes of a natural or human occurrence. Through translating these marks, she preserves the memory of natural and ephemeral occurrences, reminding us of what we overlook in our everyday lives.
