MS. FANTASTICO

Julie McCullough, who plays Ms. Fantastico (AKA The Incredibly Beautiful Girl), is sometimes referred to in Larry’s organization as “the new kid” because she only joined the company 12 years ago.  Though she is best known today from her starring roles on “Growing Pains”, “The Drew Carey Show” and “Robin’s Hoods”, it took an acting class to bring her to Larry’s attention.

They first met in the sit-com acting studio of the late, legendary, comedy teacher, Bill Hudnut, and the first thing Larry noticed about her (okay, maybe the second thing) was her sense of humor.  “It was instantly clear she had absolutely natural comedy timing,” he remembers.  “And that’s something you can’t learn; either you’ve got it or you don’t.”  When Larry offered her the opportunity to play multiple comedy roles in his show she was intrigued.  What sealed the deal?  “I asked him if I could play a dork,” she says gleefully,  “and I’ll never forget his response.  He said, ‘The dorkiest.  With glasses.”

In addition to her burgeoning acting career, Julie has recently added another talent to her repertoire—that of writer.  She has created and written a television pilot currently in development with Brillstein/Grey Television, and Larry, Elisha and Kent are hoping that she will remember them after she becomes rich and famous
