O’Malley’s poster project intervenes into the TAKE ONE brochure holders throughout San Francisco’s MUNI transportation system. The various messages inside the brochures attempt to engage in a conversation with complete strangers, initiating the possibility of reciprocal contact from the readers through the inclusion of O’Malley’s email address. Both gallery viewers and bus riders are made aware of the people around them by her affirmative, open-ended literature. Exhibition Text: Tanya Zimbardo
