Our eBookTrade will provide a textbook auction site where students can buy/sell their textbooks. Currently, SJSU students have few options in buying and selling textbooks. For example, one of the most used buying/selling resources is the campus bookstore where students have to wait hours in line to sell their books at a fraction of their value. Students buying books at campus bookstores are routinely unable to find used textbooks at a reasonable price.

eBookTrade will support user login, provide templates for seller and buyers, handle textbook searching (by title, author, ISBN and keywords). It will be incorporated with a secure payment system and a shipping and handling system hosted by a third party. A forum will be in place to provide a means of communication between potential buyers and sellers for each auction.
