Memorial Day 7's Tournament
Charleston RFC is pleased to host the kickoff of the Summer Sevens Season with the Seventh Annual Memorial Day Sevens Tournament, Saturday, May 23, 2009. This year 12 Men's Teams and 4 Women's Teams will compete for early bragging rights of Sevens Season. Located at the picturesque Daniel Island, SC part of the City of Charleston, easy to get to from I-526 (Directions). Sign in meeting is Friday night at 8PM at the Mad River Bar and Grille, downtown Charleston (East Bay and Market Streets). Captains meeting is at 9:30 Saturday morning on Daniel Island at the pitch. Bring the whole family for a great day of fun in the sun and sevens rugby. There will be T-shirts, rugby gear, and a concession stand for refreshments. (Profits from concession stand will benefit Charleston Youth Rugby Program.)
