C-prints,
book, chalkboards I created a succession of lists on a bi-weekly basis, starting them on-site and allowing the audience to complete each piece. By establishing this collaborative and archival process, I explored the occurrence and consequence of a phenomenological process, through a shared public interaction between myself and the viewer. Despite my physical absence, I attempted to have these written lists become a surrogate for my body. Not only was the audience able to live vicariously through my words, they were also able to question their own desires and fantasies. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
